Signs Lead to Little Orphan Animals

Have you ever followed a yard sale sign and it led to disappoint? Either the ”Huge Multi-Family” sale promising treasures at the end of the rainbow colored signs turns out to be no treasure at all, or worse…. the signs were from weeks ago and the trail runs cold. But eventually….. if you follow enough colorful yard sale signs you will find a great destination.  My last yard sale signs lead me to Little Orphan Animals in Cornville, AZ.  Are you looking for an adventure?

Just What is that Giraffe looking at?

Adventure in Cornville AZ

Well start your adventure in Cornville, AZ. Who knew that Cornville held such a wonderful treasure.    The yard signs I was following took me to a sale benefitting the Little Orphan Animal sanctuary.   I found a few things at the sale and then the volunteers began to talk about where the proceeds for the sale were going.   The love for these animals was evident in every person helping at the sale. What animals will you see at this sanctuary?

Animals at the Sanctuary

Long horned cattle, tropical birds, burros, many dogs including a xoloitzcuintli (pronounced “show-low-itz-Queent-ly) also known as a Mexican Hairless dog and a zebra named Poncho were just a few of the animals I got to meet.    These much loved animals have been given a second chance and living a comfortable life along the Oak Creek on a beautiful property owned by Nancy Nenad.  Can you help? Donations and volunteers are always need to keep this great sanctuary up and running to help these precious animals.

Donating and Volunteering Opportunities

The passion for these sick and injured animals is evident when you talk with Nancy, the founder,  other volunteers.  Are you looking for a worthy cause to support or place to volunteer if you live in the Cornville area?   To learn more about the sanctuary and ways to donate or volunteer please check out their website: https://LittleOprhanAnimals.org

I was so happy to stumble across these colorful and encouraging yard sale signs. What a great way to start my day.   I love the quote by Dr. Seuss in the book Oh the places you’ll go! “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes.  You can steer yourself any direction you choose.  You’re on your own. And you know what you know.  And YOU are the one who’ll decide where to go….”You’re off to Great Places!  Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So…get on your way!

Oh the adventures you can have when you take a chance on a sign.   A sign that encourages you to follow. Go ahead and follow it! Following it may lead to a Great Destination to help you Live your Best Life Now and may turn your Mountains into Molehills.

We all know the internet and phones track us, so this was the site they dumped into my email. Apparently, they thought this would be a great site for me to look at. I hope they were not looking at my Journals from when I was a teenager.... yikes!
