Hiking the White Tank Mountains, or to be honest hiking of any kind was not something I did. As I told my friend Stacy – I was not a hiker. I finally relented when someone asked me to join them on the Waterfall trail. Wow this experience gave me a total change of heart. I was never an athletic person and I believed that hiking was just not something I could physically do. But… I was Wrong. Not only are there many trails that are easy walking paths that offer spectacular views of God’s creation but it is a great way to get exercise and spend time with family and friends.
This trail is very easy except for getting over the rocks that allow you into the actual waterfall. Check out the videos to see what got me started on this adventure that I have been enjoying over the last few years. Hiking the White Tanks in Waddell AZ is just one of the many Regional parks that offer great trails, horseback riding, biking, camping and a great educational center and library.
