No One is Coming

No one is coming to force you forward. You are an adult and you are responsible for your life.  Your actions will either move you forward or hold you back.  What do you want in your life?   What do you need to do to get you there?  What motivation do you need to Live Your Best Life Now?

Living Your Best Life

Living Your Best Life can mean many things to many people.   No One is going to force you to better your life, but Ken Coleman, Career Coach “gives advice to help you discover the role you were born to play – and map out a plan to get you there!”  Now doesn’t that sound exciting, a purpose with a plan?   Finding motivation is just one piece you need to move forward. An action plan that you follow through with will move your forward and get you closer to your purpose.  Where can you find motivation and realize your purpose?

Finding Motivation

You can find a lot of motivation through a wide range of speakers though local or on line classes and YouTube’s podcasts and TedX Talks.  No one is going to force to listen. You can listen to your heart’s content, but it will still not get you where you want to go if you don’t take ACTION.  What area of your life would you like to improve?  Again, you can listen to speakers and read a lot of books on motivation, but until you use the information and take action you will remain unchanged.

Click and Learn

You can learn so much and any topic with just a click of your mouse.  You can find podcasters that teach leadership, provide motivation, encourage growth, learn tools to find your purpose and of course offer some comedic fun.

No one is coming to force you to learn something new, but learning something new will help move you forward.  Hard skills are important for your career but there are a lot of soft skills that you can learn to help you build both your business and personal relationships as well.  Instead of scrolling FB or listening to music spend some of your time developing your skills.

Time

A change in how you spend your time can benefit you in so many ways.  Below is a list of current podcasters that I highly recommend that will motivate you, help you find purpose, build your faith and enjoy some great laughs.

Great Podcasts

Get ready to learn, be inspired and enjoy some funnies with a few of these great podcasters:

  • The Minimal Mom:  Family Minimalismhttps://www.youtube.com/c/theminimalmom
  • The Ken Coleman Show:  Career Coach https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0tVfiyBpMOQLA3FAanPGJA
  • Mel Robins: Motivational Speakerhttps://www.youtube.com/c/melrobbins
  • Crystal Evans Hurst: Encourages others to fulfill their full potential in Christ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjbQKcno6wA
  • Craig Groeschel: Leadership Training https://www.youtube.com/c/craiggroeschel
  • John B Crist:  Standup Comedy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a3nPKvhonU

More Options

If listening is not the way you like to learn, check some other learning options at your local college or library.  Often you can take noncredit classes at the community college for a small cost or begin taking some credit classes to work towards a degree.   Check out their catalogs for something that interests you.  What dreams do you have?   What is your next step to get up to level up? There are so many exciting opportunities.

What’s In Your Library?

Your next opportunity may be found in your local library. I was amazed to find that libraries have really changed and offer so much more than books, music and movies.  Classes in person and on line, audible books (good bye monthly fee), book clubs, science kits, culture passes, help with homework, reading programs, study rooms for your groups and all things currently being offered at the library

Not only does the library offer so much more than it did 20 years ago these are low to no cost options. Think of how this will eliminates even more clutter in your home.   What a bargain!  No Cost and No Clutter.
